International Women’s Day

The most beautiful and fascinating celebration of tender women creatures… What holiday is that? Of course, International Women’s Day which is worldwide.

On this wonderful day women are waiting for lovely words of greetings and presents from family, relatives, beloved men, close friends.

The way of celebrating International Woman’s Day and traditions

In Slavic countries, especially Ukraine and Russia women may walk outside and simply receive beautiful roses from men who they don’t know. It is a sudden surprise and the gesture of respect to a woman’s gender. This is such a bright and delightful holiday. Furthermore, on this day men always pay a lot of kind attention to ladies: they present them flowers, chocolates, gifts and may take them to a romantic movie to watch together.

We have an amazing tradition. A man who really wants to impress his lady will wake up early in the morning on March 8^th and go to the kitchen. Guess what is he going to do there whilst his beloved lady is sleeping? He will cook a romantic breakfast and take it to the bed. More relevant, the first thing he will see is the beautiful smile of his lady. Here is the secret: this action of man will guarantee him the most successful day ever, as his lady will be smiling all day long because of happiness and a great mood. What can be better for a man when his lady is satisfied with everything and her eyes are full of excellent vibes? What can be better than the smile and laughter of your beloved lady? If you are planning to meet with the lady on this day, then you definitely are going to see some superb festivals. The winter is gone and the spring is coming, everything turns into bright colors of the sun.

One more tradition

Nevertheless, his celebration was supposed to be canceled in Ukraine. However, there are a lot of ladies who consider International Women’s day to be more important than St. Valentin’s Day itself! We also have a wonderful subject at school – Handcrafting. Children get ready to greet their grannies and moms with this sweet holiday. Usually, at the kindergarten children participate in small performances. Parents are invited to these concerts and their kids are singing songs and read lovely poems about their sisters, grandmothers, moms and female teachers. Children draw the images and portraits of moms and grannies and present them handmade flowers. International Women’s Day gives a lot of positive emotions for parents. That is why children also are waiting for this day to come to their place of study.
