More importantly, after analysing Patrick’s behaviour on each date, I’ve noticed that he tends to play it too safe. He can’t get enough attraction as he focuses too much on comfort rather than chemistry. He gets stuck in neutral, which isn’t the ideal place to be when it comes to online dating.
Introspect your actions
Therefore, my advice to Patrick is to notice what he does with women he likes. He should ask himself if he does anything different with them compared to the women he’s not attracted to. The moment he decides he likes someone, the stakes go up. As a consequence, Patrick becomes nervous. He stops doing the things that he would usually do. Patrick must realise that he shouldn’t make this important until he clearly knows it truly is. That is to say, Patrick would be well advised to be himself if he was completely comfortable that this may go nowhere. He should be playful and spontaneous, have positive and fun energy, make jokes, say what he feels, etc. Then, when he finds the right match, he knows it is actually important.
