If your goal in 2024 is to find an international relationship, you’d better incorporate fun into your goal! A recent study shows that a goal is much more likely to be achieved when it’s fun!
Bring joy into your life.
Life has a wide variety of aspects. You have a career, a social circle, hobbies, family, household chores, errands, emails, …. Now you also need to focus on your love life. If you have 3 things in your day which are quite taxing, you would be well-advised to add 3 things that are replenishing! Therefore, it’s definitely worth looking at your day and then taking a new approach: “Is there anything that I’m doing in my day that actually sparks joy?” If your answer is no, it’s time to add something that sparks joy to your day.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying you get absolutely no joy out of the challenging tasks in your daily schedule. However, it probably becomes joyless if your day is merely structured around results or achievement.
Note that when you focus on the results rather than the process, many things are not fun in life anymore. Instead, when you prioritize the process rather than the results, you are actually more likely to get the results you want because prioritizing the process means prioritizing your effort! The effort-based approach is more effective and more fun than the result-based approach in many areas of your life.
For example, instead of worrying about when you will get married, you may look at how many new women you meet every year. If your answer is between 0 and 1, that means you must utilize the effort-based approach from now on by focusing on meeting more new women each year, thereby having more opportunities to find the right person & build a successful relationship which leads to marriage!
By the way, a major study shows that international relationships are significantly more likely to become successful marriages because women from Eastern Europe have more traditional values. Hence, if you believe in true love, you should totally consider marrying an Eastern European woman.
How to figure out what gives you joy:
When the process and the effort become a priority, it’s very important to add more joy to your journey which leads to the destination that you desire.
“But I don’t even know what brings me joy. Could you tell me how to find what that is?” Brandon asks me.
“Please approach it as a discover stage – watch TV shows that are not in our normal genres, check out a new book, or try a new cuisine. Instead of putting lots of pressure on yourself, it’s simply about expanding your palate over time,” I say to Brandon, “It’s a bit like wandering into a store that you’ve never been to before in a relaxed manner and seeing everything like a child. What does your natural energy drive toward? When you begin to feel a childlike sense of wanting to know more about something, it’s a pretty good start. What’s more, if you find that your brain is turning a new joy into homework and you are ready to immerse yourself in that new joy for hours, that joy might become your next passion.”
When you have something that you are genuinely passionate about, you will definitely become a more attractive man who deserves a high-quality international relationship that will last till the end of time.
