Are you an introvert? Sometimes an introvert can look like an extrovert. For instance, I know I’m definitely an introvert, but many people say I’m an extrovert because they have seen me in social situations – I’m very good at communication and I’m not scared of people. However, honestly, I find socializing with people all day long a bit draining. In contrast, I feel much more energized when I’m at home alone – I like reading books, writing blog articles, listening to Lo-Fi or jazz music and watching movies or TV shows – all of these activities rejuvenate me.
In other words, socializing with others is something that I can do (and I obviously do that very well), but if I can choose, I’m very happy to be alone. That’s how I know I’m actually an introvert. As an introvert writing articles about dating and relationships, I’m going to share with you some introvert dating advice today.
You probably learn best through reading dating books or studying online programs.
The most valuable introvert dating advice for real introverts is to read dating books and study online programs about communication skills, dating & relationships because I know introverts are able to improve their dating skills quickly when they are alone. Indeed, when you are reading a dating book or studying an online program at home, you can focus on those key ideas that will change the way you approach dating and relationships as well as the way you interact with other people.
Do whatever you need to do and learn as much as you can when you are alone. Take me as an example: I take notes when I’m studying an online program about how to talk to anyone; I use a highlighter when I’m reading a book about dating and relationships. I study like a student, and it works pretty well for me.
Come up with a plan regarding how to implement what you’ve learned.
There are many books and online programs about how you can improve your love life, but studying online programs and reading books can’t change your life. Implementing what you have learned will transform your life.
Therefore, you would be well-advised to think about how you can implement the new ideas that you have learned from books and online programs, and then come up with a new plan that will help you improve your love life.
If you are already dating someone…
Let’s say you are an introvert and you are already dating somebody. In this case, my introvert dating advice for you would be a bit different: Yes, you still need to keep learning and improving yourself, but your priority right now has to be spending quality time with your partner.
For example, you can give each other massages and make the date night an at-home spa night. Or you may recreate your very first date: simply make the dessert you shared at that time / have a YouTube concert in the sitting room.
If you want to make the date night special, you may prepare a meal together and have a movie night. Cook something that you’ve always wanted to try and watch a movie that you’ve always wanted to watch.
Ask your date, “Do you have any suggestions about our next date night?”
As an introvert, you probably don’t want to spend so much time trying to figure out what to do on your next date, so why not ask your partner for some new ideas?
Chances are your partner has great date ideas that will give you more inspiration and enlightenment.
For instance, my partner has given me the following ideas that we really like (they are absolutely wonderful):
- Going to a karaoke bar together.
- Making cocktails at home together.
- Ordering dinner from a restaurant and having dinner on the balcony where we could see the moon and the stars in the dark blue velvet sky.
