New Year in Ukraine – Ukrainian Style Feast

January 3, 2019 at 9.15pm by in Slavic Women

New Year is a very special time in Ukraine. It is a time for family, love and celebrations – all the aspects that make Ukrainian people very special.

Our friends and partners, Edward & Aurelia, from San Diego (, sent their New Year wishes and photo’s of a traditional Ukraine New Year feast, that they were about to enjoy.

Magnificently prepared, the food is presented with love and pride, and the decorations that adorn the table and room show how special this time of the year is. Even though Aurelia married Edward and moved to USA, her Ukrainian roots and special qualities never leave.

We wish Edward and Aurelia, and their family, a happy, joyful and successful New Year.
