The importance of a growth mindset in dating and relationships & entrepreneurship

dating and relationships

A growth mindset differentiates successful people from the average Joe. While many people have a fixed mindset, successful people have a growth mindset. The good news is everyone can develop a growth mindset which is paramount in dating and relationships as well as entrepreneurship.

  • How to cultivate a growth mindset in dating and relationships as well as entrepreneurship:

The first way to cultivate a growth mindset is to become a curious learner. Be childlike every day, live in wonderment and discover the excitement of life. Focus on learning and growing continuously. Ask more questions. Be more curious about everybody you meet, the journey they’ve been on as well as what they can teach you.

The second way to cultivate a growth mindset is to try new things. Most people don’t want to try new things because they are unwilling to make mistakes. But you have to allow yourself to make mistakes so that you can learn from the experience.

The third way to cultivate a growth mindset is to seek mentorship because that is the fast-track to growth and success. I mean you have to do something in this regard so that you can benefit from highly effective personal development and cultivate a growth mindset. If reading books can make your wildly successful, then librarians are probably the most successful people in the world. Apparently, reading books is important, but this strategy alone can’t make you truly stand out and be extremely outstanding. That’s why you’d better seek mentorship.

  • Why you need a purpose in life:

Research shows that about 45% of people haven’t found a life purpose yet. Many people have anxiety because of that. But actually, purpose isn’t something that we just decide. It’s something that we discover and develop. If you read self-help books, those authors would probably tell you to do what you love and that is your purpose. Yet I would argue that if this is so simple, you must have found your purpose already and wouldn’t need to read those books in the first place. So, my suggestion is to do what you are willing to work hard at. That will possibly become your purpose. What’s more, if you are willing to work hard in order to become very good at something and you also enjoy the process, it means that activity is very likely to be your purpose. You need to make something real out in the world, and then you follow that path and allow your purpose to unfold in front of you.

At the end of the day, the way you describe your purpose is much less important than what you do with that purpose. Your action is more meaningful than your words.

  • If you are too busy and have no time for dating and relationships right now, you must read this ….

In my career, I’ve worked with many successful people, so I’ve summarized their productivity secrets.

The No. 1 productivity secret of wildly successful people is establishing ‘deep work’ zones. When they are in the deep work zone, they focus on the most challenging work without distractions. They eliminate all noises and distractions in the deep work zone.

The second productivity secret of wildly successful people is batching. That means they give each day a theme. For example, a successful entrepreneur that I know gives each day of the week a theme: Mondays for meetings, Tuesdays for management, Wednesdays for products, and so on. In this way, every day is a good day because they can do focused work.

The third productivity secret of wildly successful people is journaling. I know this sounds a bit weird because you may wonder why journaling has anything to do with productivity. Now please let me explain.

“Almost every wildly successful person that I know writes in a journal for at least 10 minutes every day. This is a way to clear their mind. Most successful people are very busy, so there are always many things happening at the same time. That’s why they regularly empty their mind by writing things down in a journal.”
